Deer and Charlie

On the way home from the park on Wednesday, we saw some deer at the edge of town. They were in the shade so these cell phone pictures are not the clearest.

Charlie was curious to see the deer but not overly excited. I realize that his fans like to see his picture, so here he is checking out the river at Seven Bends State Park.

A walk makes him thirsty, so he has a special water bottle.

The filter on the final picture is called Toon 3.

  1. Great to see deer, and of course Charlie had no clue that they wouldn't want to be friends. I can just see him trying to run up to one. They sure would have outpaced him in a flash. That's a cool little water dish for in the car.

  2. Odd friendships do occur between species so there is hope for Charlie and the deer yet.

  11. A dog I sometimes take on walks freaks out only at the sight of horses and, weirdly, ultra long-hair dogs.

  12. Good ole Charlie, I'm glad he kept his cool with the deer. I love his special water bottle. I also love Becasso. I love filters, I get told every so often to not please use them any longer. That just encourages me.

  13. Sweet Charlie, and what a great idea that bottle is. Like the effect you used on the one. Love those deer shots too. I haven't seen any around here for a long time.
