Second Mosaic on Display in Woodstock

The second of three planned mosaic murals is now on display in an alley across from the town courthouse.

It is next to the first mural which I shared here a year ago. Both of them depict scenes along the North Fork of the Shenandoah.
Let’s look at some of the details.

  5. Very nice mosaic. Such a long history! I love the Roman ones that have been excavated in many sites around the Mediterranean and in the Middle East.

  7. That mosaic is extremely well done, Linda. I love that you shared all the details. These MUST be enlarged because they show so much detail. Thanks for the close ups, dear.
