Fifteen Years of Blogging

My first post on this blog was June 13, 2005. Here we are with over seven thousand posts.

Before I started blogging, I published some websites using HTML and Dreamweaver. I even worked as a webmaster professionally. Before that, I worked as a documentation specialist, producing user manuals and help screens.

In the pre-internet days, I worked as an office manager, an editor's assistant, a secretary, a photographer, and as a 4-H club organizer. I've also served in volunteer positions.

This jobs seem long ago now. I've been retired for years, or at least mostly retired. And now here we are in the midst of a pandemic that limits what we can do. I don't know how we would get through this crisis without electronic communications. Humans crave communication with others. We need connection.

  2. Congrats on your years of blogging. That is a long time! I am glad we have the internet during this time. It would be much more isolating without it.
