Monday Murals and Mosaic Monday. |
Speaking of shows, I have two photos in a local show, "Barns of Shenandoah County." It is at Muse Vineyards this month, which is at the foot of Hollingsworth Road near Woodstock, VA.
To reach the vineyard, you travel down a narrow road and cross the Shenandoah River. It is near the new state park, still under construction.
Volunteer David Place had the idea of placing my photos next to Dawn's large prints which have similar colors. Mine are 11x14" but they look small on the wall. I had metal prints done because I have admired ones that I've seen in shows.
Nice mural Linda and of course the train must be fun.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your photos being exhibited.
Muito interessante o mural bem como as fotos, aproveito para desejar uma boa semana.

Hello, love the mural. I think the Wegman's by us took down their train, years ago. The art work is lovely.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day and I wish you a happy new week!
...wonderful finds, Linda!
ReplyDeleteGood to have your photos on display.
ReplyDeleteThat spammer hit several of my posts today too.
How wonderful to have your photos on display. They are lovely! I enjoy our Wegmans. There is one 15 minutes away that we are getting ready to go to. It is our main supermarket. There are ones closer but this is our favorite. Trader Joe's also has painted local scenes on their walls. I have always enjoyed them.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see art in a grocery...and the train of course, to entertain while mom shops. Congrats on showing your art with barns!
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice mural, and many congratulations on your photographs being exhibited.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
Lovely mural. Congratulations on having your photos in a show! How cool!
ReplyDeleteI especially love our two black and whites side by side.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to remember if there was a mural near the train in the Wegman's I've shopped at, in Fairfax. You are making me take another look at a lot of places with murals that are easy to ignore.

Linda - how wonderful that a supermarket chain focuses on art such as murals, not to mention a train!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your photos that are on display!
So glad you take the time to link to Mosaic Monday!
Brilliant! Congratulations on this well-deserved honor! Your barn photos are such a great representation of your beautiful Valley.
