  4. I love covered bridges. They have such a sense of people's mastery and need for crossing water to get wherever they needed to go...and the artistry of wood used to do so.

    How cool, a covered bridge! Last weekend while in Elizabethton, we finally found their covered bridge but we were unable to find suitable parking to get out to photograph because they were having a festival. The next time we're in that area, we will return to the site for some picture taking. :)

  7. i love this area, love the bridge... that was 1 of our 1st dates when the hubby and i met. he was driving a mustang ... now it is gone (sold it) but fun to look back. ( ;
