A January Shadow

On a sunny winter afternoon, we get to see some long shadows.

I'm showing a second version, cropped drastically. Notice something unusual?

P.S. I want to thank Black and White Weekend for spotlighting my picture of a spider web.

  1. I love the way this kind of light makes legs look so long! Your cropped photo makes it look like a biblical figure walking on water :)

  3. It seems the shadows are different this time of year, maybe it is the tress not having leaves.

    1. Actually I stood behind my husband so you are seeing extra arms. One of mine is bent and holding the camera.

  9. I think I have Star Wars on the brain with the new release. Immediately I thought of a saber wielding Star Wars figure. An interesting one.
