Purple in the Rain

Rockingham County

A week ago, I went back to White Oak Lavender Farm to take a few more pictures, even though it was a rainy day. Some colors look good in the rain.

I have to admit these were all drive-by shots. I did not get out of the car, but then, I have been there before. It’s a place worth exploring.

  2. There is nothing wrong with drive-by shots. We often use the car as a blind to photograph birds. They will sit on a fence rail and pose nicely, but if you open the door they fly off immediately.

  4. With our third day of rain (less yesterday at least) I'm aware how car photos have become a norm for me. Of course I'm usually using my iPhone to take them.
