Late Summer, SNP

Blog Post 8445

Skyline Drive runs 105 miles through Shenandoah National Park. It is one of my favorite places, so I have taken many pictures there. These are from the middle section of the park.

Garden Affair / Mosaic

These girls in traditional dress were with a large group of young people in a picnic area. Some friends really liked this picture so here’s another one with an oil paint filter added.

  3. I agree with you that Skyline Drive is very beautiful. I've been there a couple of times. I also like the blackberry cobbler with blackberry ice cream that's served in the park restaurants!!

  4. Are the girls dressed in costumes for an event, or members of a religious group - aka cult?

    1. Mennonite or Amish. Not a cult, just a church that never changed with the times.
