Blogging Since 2005.
Since I enjoy taking pictures and writing short pieces, blogging is fun for me. I’ve made a lot of online friends, and a few in-person friends too.
This is the 674th post tagged farms. There was a farm crawl today in Hampshire County so these photos are from there.
I used Picsart to cool down the doggy. It looked comfortable in the shade but it was warm outside.
Would be its defense mechanism against threats. Nice effect on the dog photo.
ReplyDeleteI just read an article about a goat farm with goats that have especially strange cries and sound like people. SO it's good to hear about another strange breed of goats. The article said they were among the first animals to be domesticated (I don't know why, but they didn't include dogs, which were much earlier).

Hello,
ReplyDeleteWonderful critter post. I love the cute dog, the donkey and the goats are awesome. The farm tour sounds fun. Love the photos! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a great day and happy new week. PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
...such a lovely setting.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
It's a good thing I don't react like those goats when I see a politician or I'd be falling over. They scare the hell out of me.
ReplyDeleteLovely pics - especially the bird (What kind is it?) in no. 2 - and the dog in no. 3.
ReplyDeleteIt is a quail.
DeleteGreat critters all...that dog in the shade must really have been hot with all his hair. Aren't blogs great!
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful critters thank you!

ReplyDelete8000 posts is a lot. Congratulations! You live in beautiful country. The filter you used on the dog photo was so nice. Our next farm trail will be the first weekend in October.
ReplyDeleteBravo on the milestone.
ReplyDeleteIt is VERY warm outside, especially here in Tidewater.

ReplyDeleteWow! Congratulations on the 8000th blog post! Great photos of the beautiful animals. Now I know that there are goats that can faint when startled. Farm tour is fun when it is not hot.
