The snow was pretty at first. Once it started to melt, it was still nice in some places, splotchy in others, and dirty along the roads. I got tired of it.

Clean snow is pretty, old snow less so. You must get tired of too much, but it makes for interesting B&W photography :)
ReplyDeleteStill lots of snow here.
ReplyDeletegreat shots of winter
ReplyDeleteChristmas lights and snow on the roads are what I only see in the movies and on TV. It must be nice to have the lights reflected on the icy walks. I like the skywatch pix, a bit of colour, mountains, bare trees and peace. Hope some sunshine comes through soon.
ReplyDelete...we have received a beautiful snow!
ReplyDeleteGlad you captured the holiday lights to remember for another 10 months.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blog

ReplyDeleteSnow looks great at first but then gets tiring after a few days when it is not so fresh. We lived in a coal mining community in Utah when I was a kid. After three days the snow started turning gray. Nowadays I wonder what my lungs look like.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots, Linda. We agree ... snow is so beautiful when it first falls. Then it turns icy, and the snow by the road gets all dirty. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteNice snow photographs. Half way through winter. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteI like the photo of the empty bench facing the water. It would be a cold place to sit, but still a beautiful view!
ReplyDeleteGood shots, Linda. We have plenty of snow here.
ReplyDeleteVery nice photographs, especially the middle one.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
