A Horse Farm in Flint Hill

Many sites on the Rappahannock County Farm Tour were ones we had visited before, so I picked out a couple of new ones in Flint Hill to see last Sunday. One was a horse farm where we were watched warily by a sleepy cat. I added a few embellishments to this picture for the Caturday linkup.
Saturday's Critters

Our hostess told us that the horses are Choctaw and Cherokee lines, descended from Spanish horses brought to the New World hundreds of years ago.

(I took her black and white picture using portrait mode on my phone.)

    My latest post:

  7. ...I like the young rider in the haymow door on her phone.

  8. What a wonderful collection of animals, barns and people doing their things. My favorite is the artistic way the stable door is swung open seeing the continuation of the field through it.

  9. The horses are just beautiful and I always love to see the horse barns!
