A Glimpse at Fishersville

Fishersville is a small town in the Shenandoah Valley between Staunton and Waynesboro.

This is the Fishersville United Methodist Church on Route 250. Although the church has roots in this area dating back 150 years, the oldest part of the current building was constructed in 1922, with various additions over the years including a nursery school.

Inspired Sunday.

Across the highway from the church is the Fishersville Post Office.  It looked quite busy when I stopped there to take a picture.

The town has grown quite a bit in recent years due to a hospital locating nearby along with associated medical offices.

  3. What a particular architecture of the Fisherville church! Love those old red bricks ... They seem the same red bricks as I saw in London.
