A Little Local Life.



Did you spot the insect on the purple coneflower? I don't remember what it's called.

This pretty cat came down from the tree so I got a picture of it walking. I added a filter and vignette for the Caturday linkup, which I haven't joined in a while.

Below that we have a hummingbird.





Sharing with I'd Rather Be Birdin'

I saw the nice horses and pulled over to take their pictures. One seemed quite friendly. Frank took a picture of me with that one.

The final picture shows three Canada Geese. These are likely ones that I've shown before because they reside in our neighborhood alongside some greylag geese and various ducks. Sometimes large flocks of Canada Geese fly in and visit the lake for a day or so.

  1. Great series of photos for Camera Critters. You have a nice variety of animals and birds here. Your insect may be a Goldenrod Soldier Beetle. I found one that looked very similar here:
