The McGuire House in Berryville
This house in Berryville was built in 1884 as home to Nannie Wilmer McGuire. She was a cousin of Dr. Hunter McGuire, who is famous for being the surgeon who amputated Stonewall Jackson's arm (1863).
The house is currently a Bed and Breakfast. It has been restored and when we saw it Sunday, it looked lovely in holiday finery.
