The Blessing Box

In front of C-CAP in Front Royal is a Blessing Box. People are invited to leave items for others who might need them. So far I have donated a couple of small blankets, a hat, socks, and some non-perishable food items.

Larger items I usually take to Goodwill or one of the other thrift stores. Sometimes I wonder this: "If I had to live on things I have given away, how long would I survive?" Probably for a while but I would have to be extremely frugal!

  5. As a kid we shared everything unusable with neighbors. Sometimes it came back to you, such as ice skates I remember.
