Three Snapshots in Woodstock, Virginia

Woodstock is the county seat of Shenandoah County. The town's charter was sponsored by none other than George Washington in 1761.

Here are a few scenes with fences hat I'm sharing with Good Fences Around the World.
Woodstock Museum
Old Building Behind the Post Office
Water Tower

  1. That is a very cool water tower.

  2. I think that building was once very beautiful. :)

  3. Interesting mix. It's kind of sad to see that second picture. It's too bad that building hasn't been kept up.

  4. I like that old house behind the post office. It just needs a little love.

  5. thank you very much for taking part in Good Fences. Have a great weekend.

  6. The museum is in great shape and I like the way it looks. The second building must have been very nice to see in its day, now it could use some help. I never seen a water tower shaped like that, it's quite different and I like that.
Nice images Linda and have a great weekend!

  7. I hope someone will restore that old building before it is too late
    Have a great week-end!

  8. All quite different buildings with different fences!

    Enjoy the up-coming weekend

    All the best Jan

  9. Nice fences and such different buildings. I like the water tower and the look of the old building in the 2nd photo.

The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.
