The Barn is Open!

Let's look inside!

The lower level is filled with lumber and such. Note the strong beams.

This is a bank barn, built on sloping ground so that two stories can be entered at ground level.

A meeting was taking place upstairs so I was able to step inside and take a photo.

I've photographed this barn from the outside many times. It is at Belle Grove on the Cedar Creek Battlefield in Middletown.

  7. This is an impressive barn. I love barns. We have an old horse barn on our farm. We just spoke with a barn restoration guy who seems to be really into restoring old buildings. I think he is going to do a really good job restoring our barn.
