Rural Rockingham County

Mt. Zion UMC

These scenes are near McGaheysville, Virginia. That town lies in the Shenandoah Valley near the south end of the Massanutten Range.

  1. Fooled me for a moment as I thought they were all barns but realised the first was a church.

  2. Things that I love best, churches, silos and weathered barns. Thanks linda for covering all the bases. Let's try this again.

  6. I love your grand old barn. They certainly don't make them like that anymore.

  7. What a great old barn. It is such a wonderful find. So much character. Forgive my delay incrementing, but I have had workmen here all week ripping up kitchen and d.room floors. I am just now getting back to the computer. Rockbridge is inundated with horrible thunder and rainstorms today....very scary. Hope you all are missing them. I love the picture of the mountain. We live in such a beautiful part of the world. genie
