Mother's Day and Blossoms

In honor of Mother's Day I scanned an old photo of my mom. It's a little faded because it's from 1942. My father took this at the Cherry Blossoms in Washington, DC.

Speaking of blossoms, I have some recent flower photos for you and also for Today's Flowers. The first one was taken a few weeks ago. It has a distinct shadow so I'm sharing it with Shadow Shot Sunday. It also qualifies for I Heart Macro, doesn't it?

The next two photos are from the gardens at the Belle Boyd House in Front Royal. I took them yesterday.

After we left Front Royal yesterday, we went to Iris Hill Farm near Middletown. I ordered a few irises to plant this summer.

Have a good week!
