Johnson's Store, 1985

This is a photo I enlarged and printed for a Black and White Photography class in 1985. At the time I lived in the Del Ray section of Alexandria and I would pass this when I walked to Old Town. Now it feels like that was part of another lifetime. 

Still, when I think about the hours I spent in the darkroom at NVCC, I clearly remember the pungent smell of the chemicals!
