Five Pictures from My Files

It's Friday already and I'm using Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday format to post five random photos. I've chosen some of them to match linkup topics, starting with a picture I took through a window at the Dickey Ridge Visitor Center.  I'm sharing it with Weekend Reflections and Orange You Glad It's Friday. This is the only recent picture in this post. Three are from last year and one is scanned from a 1990 snapshot.

The cloudy sky behind the communications tower gives me an excuse to link to Skywatch Friday.

Mersad assigned snowfall as today's topic for Friday My Town Shootout.  We haven't had snowfall yet this season so I chose a picture from last winter. Do you see the geese? They almost flew out of the frame by the time the shutter clicked.

I don't have much to say about the cute squirrel. I named this blog after Squirrel Ridge, an invented name for a place we lived in Basye, so I feel compelled to show a squirrel now and then.

The fifth picture is from 25 years ago. One of Lynn's friends who saw the photo of Lynn and Joel that I posted a week ago said she'd like to see an old photo of herself. So Teresa, this one's for you!
