Rurality 522

farm

We take Route 522 when we travel from Front Royal to Sperryville.  It flows up and down hills, slows down for some charming towns, and winds through the country with the Blue Ridge as a backdrop.

  1. The first shots surely shows the "Blue Ridge." Such lovely landscapes Linda. Thanks for linking up this week and I hope that you will return again. Tom The Backroads Traveller

  2. My mother-in-law lives in Woodstock. She loves to watch the sunsets over the mountains. It's beautiful country there.

  3. The Blue Ridge reminds me of the Niagara Escarpment. Where I grew up, the view out the back window to the west always had that ridgeline.
