Rurality 522
We take Route 522 when we travel from Front Royal to Sperryville. It flows up and down hills, slows down for some charming towns, and winds through the country with the Blue Ridge as a backdrop.

What lovely rural scenes!
ReplyDeleteThe first shots surely shows the "Blue Ridge." Such lovely landscapes Linda. Thanks for linking up this week and I hope that you will return again. Tom The Backroads Traveller
ReplyDeleteMy mother-in-law lives in Woodstock. She loves to watch the sunsets over the mountains. It's beautiful country there.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Ridge reminds me of the Niagara Escarpment. Where I grew up, the view out the back window to the west always had that ridgeline.
ReplyDeleteThese are such beautiful scenic views!
ReplyDeleteJust so beautiful! Love these photos of one of my favorite places!
