Snow Scene in Riverton

kids with bridge in background

Cranes are being used to build a new bridge over the South Fork of the Shenandoah. In the foreground, we see children playing. Far in the distance are the Blue Ridge Mountains, with Skyline Drive running along the crest.

  1. Nice view, I'd have been recording the constuction of the briidge if I lived there. Nothing like snow to cheer me up in the morning, thats because we don't get much

  3. Such gorgeous panaramas, Linda!
I could almost get a little wistful, I did not manage to get out of town toward snow-capped hills and mountains this winter.
    Happy Sky Watch,

  8. Lovely scenes. I'm hoping we will get warmer temps in the next few days so some of our snow will melt.
