  1. the undulating movement of the surface of the open sea 
  2. a succession of waves or a single large wave.

  8. I know how it feels to ride a boat on a wave like that and even bigger. Every summer I'd ride a boat going to my grandmother's hometown for vacations. Your photos suddenly brings memories of those boat rides.
