Curving Pathways

In the first picture I was capturing an "S" curve, a compositional element said to give a sense of movement to an image. Sometimes I wonder if following known rules of composition isn't a little trite! Well, the shadows on the path kind of break it up in a way I hope is interesting.

In the second picture I was capturing spring flowers and the path was more incidental.

  1. the flowers along the path are really neat.

  2. I love how this makes the eye meander and appreciate the lovely colors of Spring!

  3. Nice! I love the spring flowers.

  4. I would not mind walking down that lovely path, nice photos!
