Tomorrow Frank's sister leaves to fly back to the west coast. Today his brother (and wife and dog) drove back to Pennsylvania after a brief visit. We enjoyed having everyone here and showing them the sights here in beautiful western Virginia.
For instance, yesterday we took everyone (except dogs) to a festival at Blue Ridge Community College, had lunch at Mrs. Rowe's Buffet near Mt. Crawford, drove to Port Republic where a delightful older lady showed us the museum and a sweet couple let us tour their historic house, and stopped at the JMU Arboretum in Harrisonburg for a pleasant walk around the duck pond.
It was a cool day but sunny and gorgeous. The Shenandoah Valley is green and delightful in the spring.
