Large parking garages can be disorienting. You drive around in circles, watching for a parking spot. When you finally find one, you're in a dark area with no particular clues as to which direction is which.
This one in Leesburg had a map posted, but there was no “You are here” indicator. I asked a passerby, but they did not understand the map either. So I walked toward the light until I came out near the street. Fortunately, I saw that I was near the place where I wanted to be.
The View from Squirrel Ridge features thousands of views of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounding area. I post frequently so please visit often.

I'm laughing a bit at seeing this garage scene, and thinking how difficult it can be to return and find one's car in these parking garages!

ReplyDeleteI wish! Once I had a loaner car from a car dealership, and I scratched it going into a narrow parking garage gate. Fortunately, the dealership did not charge me for the damage.

ReplyDeleteI am glad you ended up near where you wanted to go. I used to drive around these parking lots very thankful that I don't go to them too often. I like the ones that have those little lights over the parking spots, with red or green, green showing where there is an open space. That helps. Nice shot!
