I saw these items in the shop that was going out of business. The funny thing is that I passed this store for years and never went in until I heard it was going to close. I decided I should take a look before it was gone.

ReplyDeleteThere’s something a little bittersweet about finally walking into a place just before it disappears. I think a lot of us have done that at least once. Small local shops become part of the background of daily life, and we assume they’ll always be there until suddenly they aren’t. The mix of stickers and feathers makes the photos feel very personal and handmade, the kind of things you don’t usually find in larger chain stores. Places like that often have their own character and atmosphere that is hard to replace.
