Today was another mild, spring-like day. It was also the first day of daylight saving time, which meant getting up earlier this morning. I changed the time on my analog clocks and the microwave and range. By the time I finished morning chores, I felt tired and decided that today's main goal was to adjust to the change in time. That took some of the pressure off from working on my to-do list.
I ate lunch on the deck and noticed that there were daffodils blooming in the backyard. Spring is on the way!

After we came home and had dinner, we still had Charlie's evening walk to do. It was nice to be able to do it before dark. There was a flock of robins in the air and in the trees.

A very nice series of photos. It was lovely not having that chill in the air and was the first time I had all the windows open. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteSigns of spring for you, and signs of (early) autumn for me. Darker mornings and cooler evenings.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well.

Nice signs of Spring.
ReplyDeleteSpring is springing!!! Great photos, and seeing the daffodils really makes me smile, the bright splash of yellow, like an announcement that warmer days are not to far away!
ReplyDeleteWas pretty springlike here yesterday. We were out in the country and there were sap buckets on the trees in several places.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views of the daffodils and the park. I like the views of the river. Charlie is happy to go on the walks. Take care, enjoy your day and the week ahead.
ReplyDeleteIt was enjoyable seeing the start of spring. Down here in Florida, there is never a big shift in the weather, and up in Connecticut the snow is still piled deep. As a New Englander, I remember the pleasure of seeing the first daffodils.
ReplyDelete...spring has arrived here, at least until the next snow.
ReplyDeleteDaffoldils are among my favorite flowers! Happy month of March.
ReplyDeleteYes, every sign of spring is inviting, and I bet Charlie feels the same way! Grass!!!
ReplyDeleteSpringtime... yes, we hope too. Lovely. It's enough with snow & ice.
