Blog Post #9400: House Finches

 This male house finch kindly posed for my Nikon. The rest of today’s pictures were automatically taken with the Birdfy feeder cam.

This last shot was taken on a snow day. You can see why it’s easy to confuse the house finch with a purple finch. I’m not positive about this last one, except that house finches are very common here in Virginia and can be seen year-round.
