The days are so short now. It was almost 4:30 yesterday afternoon when I arrived at Seven Bends State Park with Charlie. I had already dropped off a box of donations at Goodwill, but I'm not sure what else I did to get out of the house so late. I do recall that I checked several items off my list and ordered some groceries.

Seven Bends Skies
The water level of the North Fork is fairly low, although we did have some rain the other day.
I took Charlie for a short walk, and then sat on a bench for a few minutes. By 4:45, the sun was already setting.

The clouds in the last photo are interesting. Love that Charlie's face! His eyes are so expressive!
ReplyDeleteNice pictures - love the colours (colors?) in that last picture. But the close up of Charlie made me smile!

Stunning views, amazing skies. Loved Charlie's pic :)
ReplyDeleteI have never ordered groceries. I go to the store and pick them up. Often, I change my mind. If I have apples on the list, for example, and they don’t look as good as I think they should, or are too big, I will switch to another fruit. Perhaps I have cod in mind, but the sole is on sale, looks better and saves money. How would I know all this by ordering and having it delivered?
ReplyDeleteI ordered canned goods, bottles, sundries, and things that I can’t reach because the stupid store puts them on the top shelf. For meat and produce, I go to local stores.
DeleteLoved your sunset series…and Charlie of course. Yesterday I looked up from reading and thought it must be 8:30 or so, only to find it just 5:30 with complete dark outside. It may be a long winter for me this year!
ReplyDeletePretty views of the river and the beautiful sky.
ReplyDeleteCharlie is a cutie! Take care, have a great day and a happy weekend.
...a little piece of heaven.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful views. We are about a week behind you on fall.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the early sunsets, too. But there was Charlie, obviously enjoying this sunset. I am not sure I've seen clouds like in the last picture. (And yes, I order groceries from time to time. I don't like to, though, because I'm particular about my produce and some other items.) Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteYes, Linda, the days are really getting short, here in Austria too – but this way you and sweet Charly got to enjoy a wonderful sunset that illuminated the trees. A truly beautiful sight!
ReplyDeleteWarm regards after my long blogging break! Traude
