A local photography group has the theme of “Cityscapes” this week. My first thought was, “I don’t have very many.” because most of my city pictures are limited in scope, such as showing a particular building or, people walking together. Then I remembered my European trips from decades ago. This picture is from Paris in the year 2000.
I guess I’m telling my age, but that’s okay. I have passed the point of being able to pretend that I’m young.

ReplyDeleteWonderful to have that photo. I remember many discs I had of photos around then…but may have had my first Kodak digital camera by then. Couldn’t have imagined a phone camera at that point.

A lovely shot. I can and can't say I've seen it. I was 13, and as 13 year old girls can be, refused to get out of the car when we (my parents and I) got there. I did peek, and of course, now I'm sorry.

ReplyDeleteA great image. Such an iconic photo. Back then, film and processing was expensive so I didn't near as many photos as I do now.
