Summer is officially over. I hate to see it go. I didn’t take a vacation because it’s just too difficult and not enjoyable when I have to deal with back pain and other health issues. But I did get outdoors to enjoy the flowers and signs of summer.
These pictures are left over from August.
“Summer's end's around the bend just flying
The swimming suits are on the line just drying
I'll meet you there per our conversation
I hope I didn't ruin your vacation...” 🎵
“Come on home, Come on home.
No you don't have to be alone,
Just come on home.”

Frankly, I am never sorry to see summer come to an end. I feel much better in the crisp air of fall than the heat and humidity of July and August. I am looking forward to the first frost.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers and your sky capture is lovely.
ReplyDeleteI think summer went by way too fast.
Take care, Happy Friday! Have a great weekend.
These are beautiful...my favorite is the second one. Yes having comfort from pain does take precedence over travel!
ReplyDelete...it's fun to still see sunflowers.
ReplyDeleteWe still have lots of warm days and cool nights ahead. I guess formally it is autumn but it is like summer only with the high temps and humidity.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
