It turned out to be a long afternoon. at least I was rewarded with this sunset.
I don’t want to make this a long story, so briefly, I went to Urgent Care because I’ve been feeling off-balance and lightheaded. I thought it might be an inner ear infection because I’ve had them in the past. My physician couldn’t see me until next week.
The doctor at urgent care felt strongly that I should go to the hospital for further tests. I think that when they see someone over 70, they become concerned about things like strokes and heart trouble so they want to rule those out. I went through a battery of tests and a chest x-ray, and everything was fine. It may be that I was dehydrated earlier.
Lynn and her friend Barb were on their way to pick me up, so I went outside to wait and saw this beautiful sunset.
Hi Linda, this heat 🥵 🔥 can really make one feel lightheaded, tired and dizzy...signs of dehydration and warnings of heat stroke. You did the right thing to have a doctor decipher what is going on.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful.
I’m glad the tests gave you the all-clear, and at least the day ended with the gift of a beautiful sunset to lift your spirits
ReplyDeleteI am glad you are ok, they do love doing a lot of tests.
ReplyDeleteThe sky images are beautiful. Take care, enjoy your day!
Glad it turned out to be nothing serious.
ReplyDelete...take care and be well.
ReplyDeleteYou made the right call, to get checked out. When we feel less than our regular selves, it's often difficult to determine if this "yes" needs attention. Beautiful sky shot!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are okay Linda and that you got checked out. I feel light headed when I am dehydrated and I've known at least two family members who fainted because of not drinking water on very hot days. It's great that you have Lynn and Barb and Deborah and Frank to help when needed. Don't forget, I'm only a hop, skip and a jump if needed. I really mean that.
ReplyDeleteThat is so generous of you! It warms my heart.
DeleteThat's a beautiful sunset. It's always nice to have such an image to hang on to while the night sky turns dark.
