A View Along Oak Ridge Road
One hundred and fifty years ago, this was a farm owned by Samuel Slusser. The farmhouse was beautifully renovated 20 years ago.

ReplyDeleteFor 150 years ago, they built that house with some great window treatments! Lots of light inside I'd imagine. And having tried living a few evenings when the elec. was off, I know that candlelight is pretty lame for reading in the evening...at least oil lamps give off much more light. But you certainly would have trouble sewing by that limited light.
