The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley is on Amherst Street in Winchester. There are a number of medical offices in that neighborhood because the hospital is nearby, and sometimes I combine a doctor visit with a trip to the museum. Yesterday I did that because I wanted to pick up a copy of the Virginia Garden tour book.
Although I did look at some artwork, I did not tour the gardens to see the temporary display of dinosaur sculptures because I simply can’t walk that far. Hopefully I’ll be able to do that in the near future.
There were some lovely flower arrangements along the hallway on the first floor.
The flowers are just gorgeous
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll visit the gardens in the future, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so beautiful!
When I had a shop,
I always put a bouquet of flowers!
Great looking flowers - it must be nearly spring!

ReplyDeleteNice candid black and white shot, and the flowers are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt must be really frustrating when your legs won’t do what you want them to.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing flower arrangements that others have made - that last photo is great - an artistic view of both garden and indoor flowers.
ReplyDelete...there are never too many flowers.
ReplyDeleteThe flower arrangements are lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your link and your comment and your visit.
Take care, have a wonderful weekend.
What a nice display of spring flowers. I'd enjoy that much better than a dr. visit, any day.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful street capture and lovely flowers!
