It’s St. Patrick’s Day, and I don’t really celebrate it much. I did wear a green shirt, and then for the sake of a photo, I put a green bandanna on Charlie.
It says, “Bark Ranger. Leave only Paw Prints.”
We went to Seven Bends State Park for his afternoon adventure. We didn’t walk very far because my knee was hurting a lot. It had felt better before physical therapy this morning. Maybe I should stop going. Well, I have an appointment with an orthopedic doctor on the first. I hope he can tell me why it hasn’t gotten better in three months.
Here are some more pictures from today. Virginia bluebells are showing signs of blossoms already.
St.Patrick’s Day here seemed pretty subdued as far as I could tell, but I have no doubt that the university students drank more than their fill of green beer at the taverns downtown.
ReplyDeleteCute Charlie photos, I love the views of the park and sky. I hope the doctor can help with your knee pain.
ReplyDeleteTake care, have a wonderful day!
Seeing Charlie really makes my day
ReplyDelete...killer skies.
ReplyDeleteWith so much Irish blood in my family, every day is St. Patrick's Day. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of the views, and sweet Charlie in his green bandana! I have two friends who separately have had cortisone shots in different joints lately...as relief from pain. Not saying that's always the answer though.
ReplyDeleteA lovely collection of photographs.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I love Charlie's bandana, he is very photogenic. I am sorry you are still having trouble about your knee. It sounds like we are in the same boat.
