Bootmobile

This came to Woodstock.

LL Bean's Bootmobile visited with a pop-up shop of mostly outerwear. I did not shop there because I have enough clothing plus I was on my way to the dog park with Charlie.

Years ago I bought cotton pants from their catalog but then they changed the material to a lighter polyester blend so I switched to Lands End.

  1. Fun to see! I haven’t bought anything from there for a while, Lands End either, though I always enjoy their catalogs which came this week.

  2. That's something you don't see every day.

  3. Great Idea. I wonder if the prices are made appealing to try to catch the spur of the moment shopper?

  6. I have never bought from LL Bean, for no reason other than there are good quality outdoor clothing companies here in Canada, but when I read that the owner of the company gave a huge donation to Trump when he ran for president that would have turned me off in any event.

  9. My super duper warm coat is from LL Bean. I can't wear it walking unless the temperature is 20 or it is just too warm.
    Never saw the bootmobile before.

  10. Aren't you lucky to see the boot-mobile! I've had several nice things from both LL and LE. They do seem to last well!

  13. That's unusual and fun. It reminded me of when I saw Little Oscar with his Wienermobile. I was probably four yrs old. :-)
