Virginia allows early voting at the county government centers. I went this afternoon and noticed how brilliant some of the trees are already. This is not terribly unusual but autumn came later last year and the year before.
There are other good places to see the fall colors around here. I like to make at least one pilgrimage to Fort Valley, Orkney Springs, and West Virginia.

ReplyDeleteHi Charlie! Love that first photo! Good you've done the vote. I sure hope a lot of people who don't usually vote will get into this election. Our early voting starts the 20th. Same here, avoid tourists if possible. But with friends who work the usual work week, I was out there on Sunday last week. Oh boy!

i am hoping they will allow us to vote early from now on, i rather prefer it. it is nice to pick when you will go to the poles. instead of the one single day. i did ask the ladies there at my pole and they didn't know. something about i should ask my representatives. i did laugh ...because i don't think i would get an answer. LOL!! ( ;
