Passing Storm, East of Strasburg

Summer in Virginia means days and sudden thunder showers. after I left some donations at the thrift store this afternoon, the skies opened up. I drove to Cedar Creek Battlefield to watch the storm. It didn't last long, and then I went for groceries.

  6. You certainly captured great pics of the sky and the clouds. We have had a very dry summer here in western Kentucky but now the rains have started, and I finally have gotten to turn off my watering system for a few days.

  7. Very pretty! Your skies look a little like the monsoon skies we are getting now.
