ReplyDeleteIt fills me with sadness that the Carolina Parakeet, our only native parrot, was driven to extinction by the senseless, cruel, unmitigated slaughter of humans.

ReplyDeleteWe don't have wild parrots in the UK. Unless you count feral/escape Rose-ringed Parakeets that originated in Asia.
