Recently Seen Critters

The horses were at Blandy, which has a bridle trail.

Yesterday I saw the osprey again. I managed to get one decent photo and then my camera turned off -- "battery exhausted."

The trio of ducks was swimming in a pond across from the Fortsmouth Fire Department.

The pair of ducks was in our community lake.

The squirrel posed well but was in dappled light that was not a good choice for his portrait.

  1. I've all too often had the "battery exhausted" show up too. Usually missing a good"shot".

Love to go horseback riding. And spotting an osprey in flight would be a highlight!!

Thank you for taking time from your day to share with us at IRBB!

  2. Hello,
Love the scene with the horses. I would have thought the Osprey have all headed south by now. Love the ducks and cute squirrel. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day, have a great new week! PS, thanks for leaving me a comment.

  3. Hello,:=) The horses and riders was a lovely shot. I used to go riding, how well I remember those days. I'm glad you got another shot of the Osprey, ...pity you didn't have a spare battery, not that it would have done any good as the Osprey would have been long gone. Don't you just loath those missed opportunities,...and what's worse, you never forget them!!
    Cute Squirrel and duck captures.

  4. Why is it that the battery dies when you would have had the perfect shot! I always carry a spare in a little pouch attached to the camera strap (Miriam made it for me), but with a bird in flight it wouldn't help anyway.

  10. Shame about the battery. You really must get a spare one to keep in your pocket - fully charged. Enjoy your week Linda.
