Summertime Critters

I've been watching for butterflies but I've only found a few. I didn't get close to this one in a meadow near Cedar Creek. (You may have to look closely to see it on the right side of the picture.)

The pretty duck was strolling in my back yard.

When I find flowers to photograph, I look for pollinators. They can't all be butterflies.

Below that we see a mourning dove.

Today's final three pictures are from a stop in Shenandoah River State Park s

  14. I see that bunny hiding -- I enjoy finding them IRL as well as on blogs! Pretty flowers and its fun to chase butterflies (with a camera). Someone recently told me you can get better pix of them early in the morning as they don't flit so much when they are cold. (That kind of lets me out.)
