American Robins... and a Gray Squirrel

  5. These are familiar creatures, but nonetheless delightful. Greater numbers of American Robins spend the entire winter here year after year and in local parks and ravines do well. It is becoming very difficult to know when the first genuine spring migrant arrives. Great series of pictures, especially of the bird taking flight.

  7. Beautiful captures of a bird that seems to be here in flocks at different times (when there are red berries on some nearby plants) and I know they roost and raise young here in the spring also...but for all I know they are just passing through.
