Rainy Day Critters

We had so much rain last weekend that I stayed home on Sunday. I didn't want to get stranded by flooded roads. I took photos through the window, using a zoom feature.

Here we see a wet muscovy duck, some poor bird that I couldn't really identify in the rain, a drenched squirrel, a red-winged blackbird, and what I think is a thrasher.

    1. I think it probably was a mourning dove. Often they sit on the rail.

  13. The squirrel made me laugh. He looks rather bedraggled. Oh well, a shower probably did him some good. :)
