- My memory card has been acting up so I switched over to my cell phone for photos this afternoon. I also use the cell camera whenever carrying the big camera would be obtrusive. This scene is just one that I saw on the way home.
2. All the picnic areas in Shenandoah National Park are now open for the season. Here's a squirrel having a snack on a rock at Dickey Ridge Picnic Area.
3. I stopped at a convenience store in Mt. Jackson the other evening after meeting Lynn for a late lunch near Staunton. I just got a cup of coffee, mostly decaf because I am sensitive to caffeine. But I did add a little bit of the caffeinated stuff to help me stay alert on rest of my journey.

4. Yesterday evening I went to a meeting in Front Royal. Here's a scene on Main Street.
Lovely shots. Looks like spring.
ReplyDeletePretty sights up there. Good to hear the place is opening up. I was at Big Meadows and the Lodge and gift shop next door was still closed. Looking forward to going back as I love browsing around. My camera card finally quit on me. I had to throw it away. Have a great weekend Linda :)
ReplyDelete...I have never had a problem with a memory card, I just reformat them. It would be nice to have a smaller camera, one day I may breakdown and get a smartphone. Thanks Linda for stopping by, enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteThe last card I used in that camera got a little crack in the plastic so I tried a different card. But I suspect that a tiny shard of plastic is stuck in the camera because the new card won't go all the way in.
DeleteHello, I love Shenandoah NP. Beautiful scenes. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the blossoms are coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteGood set of randoms. I like the decor in that restaurant. Your first shot looks so peaceful. Isn't it nice to see the trees in bloom.
ReplyDeleteGlad you shared these Linda - thanks.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
I have yet to learn downl0oads from my phone. It doesn't work as well.
ReplyDeleteI cheat by sending them to Facebook and downloading them from there.
DeleteBelo cenário a caminho de casa, lindas fotos...sou movida a cafeína!
ReplyDeletebom domingo bj
The name Shenandoah triggers all kinds of memories for me, even though I've never been there...John Denver, in particular, comes to mind.
ReplyDeleteI certainly enjoyed your photos!

You had quite a time. Thanks for sharing with us. I use my cell phone for a huge percentage of my photos. Maybe half or so, maybe more.
ReplyDeleteTerrific photographs. We also had a taste of Spring here in NJ yesterday. Alas...winter is having a final say this week...cold and damp today.
ReplyDeleteLovely scenes. I like the pictures or posters? on the wall at the cafe.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a good week with lots of great shots
