Saturday at Harper's

We were in Harrisonburg and Frank suggested we stop at Harper's Lawn Ornaments. They always have fun stuff to see and he especially likes the fountains.

I was pleased to see a mural on the side of the Water Gardens building. (See other murals at Monday Murals.)

It looks like the frog needs a little touch-up. They should name him Hopper.

Harper's has a huge selection of concrete statuary. They cast these on the premises.

There was a sale going on and I wound up purchasing a little meditating dog.

  1. What a fun series of shots! I really like that first statue with the apes.

  2. Hello, I like the mural and all the statues. The meditating dog is one of my favorites. The Apes is cool too. Looks like a neat garden center. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your day!

  3. Fun pictures from a fun place. I didn't know if those were apes or statues of Bigfoot in the first shot. Haha! :)

  4. A statue like those would sure keep the little kids out of your back yard!

  5. Always fun to rovee around a store like this.Like your dog

  6. FCW has always loved stone lions!

  8. That first photo looks like Planet of the Apes!

  11. Nothing like finding a little painterly image waiting to be discovered. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
