Feeder Friends in January

I've been filling the bird feeders and the birds welcome my efforts. For those who don't live in the Mid-Atlantic states, our feeder friends include swallows, woodpeckers, goldfinches, chickadees, juncos, and cardinals. The starlings and squirrels visit too, but they aren't quite as welcome because they eat so much that the small birds don't get a fair chance!

  3. Sweet....
It's the same here as your starlings...only it's sparrows and doves that consume everything in sight.

    Awesome photos....

I'm here to send my thanks again, for you contributing this blog for all the birders at I'd Rather B Birdin' this weekend!

Enjoy the bird life around you!!

  4. Hello, you have a nice variety of feeder birds. I love the goldfinches. The sparrow shot is lovely. The piggy squirrels have to take over. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Enjoy your day and the new week ahead.

  5. It's the blue jays here that tend to be hogs around feeders!

  6. Nice shots of the birds and I almost forgot, the token squirrel. Seems to be one always hanging around a bird feeder. :)

  8. You have a great cafe there for your feathered friends. They are rewarding your efforts by posing for your beautiful pictures! I love that little upside down one (is it a chickadee or a finch, I can't quite tell ... working on my IPAD).
