Tree meets Fence

Shenandoah River, Front Royal, VA

Earlier this summer I visited the Carson Trail at the end of Country Club Road. A storm had taken a tree down, which in turn took a section of fence down.

Signs remind us that dogs must be on leash and that fishing is not allowed here, at least from the banks. Also, "Smile, You're on Camera."

A golf course is adjacent to the trail and carts must share the road with larger vehicles, so drive carefully.

  2. get a lot of that here, too, just not as many pretty split rails around here - more barbed wire and pipe. :)

  6. Beautiful view of the river. It's a shame the tree and the fence suffered damage from the storm.
